Basic Kazar Deck (Pool 1) - Explanation included
Deck Description
A Kazar deck for pool 1 players that is meant to fill up the board with mostly 1 cost cards,then powering them up with Kazar and/or Blue Marvel,we also have Bishop,Angela and Wolfsbane that takes advantage of the board getting filled up.
Kazar is a key card for this deck since a lot of cards here are 1 cost. He allows us to put power on locations that has been filled by 1 cost cards without having to play him there.
Ant-Man is a must for this deck,he can boost himself to be a 4 power card by filling the location he's played at,which should be easy to accomplish given that a lot of cards in this deck are cheap.
Nightcrawler is a very flexible card that is still used in meta decks,though he is only a 2 power card,he is very adaptable in many locations,you can easily shift where you put his power in case you placed him at a location you wouldn't want him at,or move to unplayable locations like Sanctum Sanctorum or Death's Domain,he also works pretty well with Angela,playing him on Angela's location,moving him out and placing an another card on his place can increase Angela's power a bit further.
Rocket Racoon is a 1 cost card that can be a 4 power card if played on a location where the enemy also played cards the turn he is played.
Blue marvel is placed in this deck as a substitute for Kazar incase you do not manage to draw him,his ability to give power is not exclusive to 1 cost cards,but to all of your cards which is pretty decent.
Armor is an important part of this deck, she is used in decks with many 1 cost cards to protect these low cost cards from being destroyed by Elektra or Killmonger.
Squirrel Girl is used as a way to put more 1 cost cards on the board which will further expand the reach of Kazar's ability,though she is quite risky to play on the first turns,putting a squirrel on Space Throne or Bar With No Name can almost guarantee that the opponent will win that location,but she is also very beneficial when a squirrel is added on Sanctum Sanctorum or Death's Domain,main advice is to know all the locations first before playing her.
Angela is a card that can grow to be a 6 power card by playing cards on the location she has been played at,or even an 8 power if played with Nightcrawler as mentioned in the fourth paragraph, this is very impressive for a 2 cost card.
Bishop is a card that can grow it's power up to 11 by simply playing any card on any location however you like,which will be easy to take advantage of because you will be able to play many cards thanks to their cost.
Wolfsbane is card that can become a 7 power card if played on a location that only has one spot left,our low cost cards makes it easy for us to accomplish this requirement.
Elektra is a bad card if played against this deck,but she can be a good ally as well,she is ideal to play late game to surprise our enemies,destroying an important or big 1 cost card on their side. This card can also easily win you the Mojoworld if played late, plus she also gains power from Kazar, so overall she's a good addition to the deck.
NEW: Hawkeye, i replaced Sunspot with this after finding out Sunspot is actually in pool 2,i apologize for those who have already viewed this deck before i edited it. Hawkeye is a 1 cost that can be a 3 power card by playing at least one card at his location one turn after he is played.
The main plan when playing this deck is to put our 1 cost cards like Rocket Racoon,Hawkeye and Ant-Man all in one location then finally filling up the location with Armor,or you can play her earlier,it won't affect the power output of your 1 cost cards. Then play the rest of your cards on an another location,Blue Marvel or Kazar (or both of them) must be played.
Replacable cards (pool 1 only):
Rocket Racoon - The reason why i placed him here is because of the fact that you have to guess where your enemy will play their cards just to get that additonal power.
Elektra - She's replacable not because she's bad in any way for this deck,but because you can switch her out for cards that focus on powering up your cards instead of ruining your enemy's play if that is what you wish to focus on.
Squirrel Girl - The risk that we have to take everytime when we play Squirrel Girl on the first or second turn is the main reason why is replacable,she also limits how much power Bishop can reach by 2 when two squirrels are succesfully added to the other locations.
List of cards that you can switch out the replacable ones for:
Mr. Fantastic - He is a good way to spread power, playing him at the middle location is a guaranteed 2 power push to all locations summing up a total of six without powering your other cards.
Iron-Heart - She is a good alternative on powering your cards,especially the ones in a filled up location.
Captain America - He is ideal to play on locations with low power cards.
Korg - An another 1 cost card for Kazar to power up and a bonus,shuffling a useless rock on your enemy's deck,but if your opponent is using a Patriot deck, that "useless" rock might actually help them rather than ruining their play.
Yondu - He has the same purpose as Korg,a card for Kazar and a way to ruin your enemy's play by removing a card from their deck,which can greatly impact your chance of winning the match, especially if he takes out Elektra or Killmonger.
Mantis - We don't have to make sure we get to use her ability to make her useful,she mainly serves as an another card to be buffed by Kazar,but she can be a lifesaver if she gets the enemy's Elektra or even better, Killmonger!
Uatu The Watcher - An another card to be buffed by Kazar and a beneficial bonus,once this card enters your hand,you will be able see the unrevealed locations
Onslaught - You can switch Blue Marvel for this card since he can double Kazar's effect,giving your 1 cost cards an additional two power instead of 1
America Chavez - She is card that can make any type of deck more consistent,allowing you to draw into your other cards more often thanks to her ability of only entering your hand on turn 6,she can also be used as a way to win a location when you want to focus all your power in that location.
