Goal is to influence/control your opponent and anticipate their use of the locations to swing things on turns 5 and 6. Many games are won by playing professor X onto undesirable/empty locations to win them on turn 5, then winning another location on turn 6 with killmonger, shang-chi, scarlet witch, or spider-woman. Decent early game interactions are colossus into deathlok and Lizard into enchantress (shuts off his -3 ongoing power reduction). Professor x is great for disrupting things, especially movement decks.
