try to play either Spectrum or Blue Marvel on bar sinister, depending on draws/board state. don't hesitate to play cards like Namor, Mister Fantastic, and Klaw in non-optimal positions if you're going to be able to play Spectrum on bar sinister because they will gain +8 power from this.

Quicksilver and Mister Sinister, though they do not have ongoing abilities, can help with gaining board presence early as we only have one other 1-cost card. Mister Sinister can also be used to gain power in locations like Luke's Bar and death's domain, which are otherwise difficult to establish a board presence in, or Washington D.C. as Mister Sinister's clone does not have any abilities.
