A Wave based lock-down deck with additional ways to add power to flooded/locked locations.
Sunspot on turn 1 is ideal but it can still be good later on. If down before turn 5, skipping that turn for +5 power with a follow up Infinaut is awesome.
Domino helps establish consistent early pressure for a follow up Storm. Since it's guaranteed 2 drop, we can run more high cost Jubilee & Wave synergy cards.
Storm's is best at pushing your opponent's to either hard commit to the zone or abandon it.
White Tiger, Sunspot, and Ironheart are tools for adding additional power to a flooded location. Ironheart and Sunspot can help with a Prof. X locked location. And all these cards pair well with the Kyln location too.
Wave is great on turn 3 into a turn 4 Prof. X for a quick lock, even if a bit risky. Otherwise, the typical turn 4 wave into Odin is great for slowing down low curve decks in the late game.
Jubilee is powerful as it usually pulls a Chavez, but Odin and Infinaut may often be better targets.
Odin is great to play next to Ironheart or White Tiger to sneak some additional power to locked locations. And also great next to Jubilee if there's room.
Groot is a decent follow up on the flooded location but is ultimately a flex spot that I swapped back n forth for Quick Silver for a more consistent curve. Otherwise, another 3 cost card is a must for curving out more consistently. Juggarnaut or Brood seem like decent follow ups on a Flooded location, but I'm only half way thru pool 2 and unable to test either.
