Possible Bug?

Just had a game where NightCrawler got a mystery bonus? 

He had a plus +1 from Nova dying and moved to the same location as carnage and all of a sudden he was 5 power?

Like there's no card or location on the field to account for it (no Okoye, Mr. Fantastic, or Shangri-la, etc.) 

He was part of a typical Discard/Apocalypse deck but it cost me the match and after ten minutes of review I still can't figure out why his power jumped to 5 after moving to a ruined location with only carnage at the location.
